Hey, I’m D’Arcy.

I struggled with weight for years and felt absolutely defeated. I believed that if I could just lose weight, everything would be perfect and I’d be happy. Simple, right?

But there’s nothing simple about being human!

If we were never truly aligned with who we actually are and what we want, how on earth are we supposed to feel good in our skin? So we cope with this disconnect any way we can. Food was my go-to source for comfort, the one dependable thing that brought me pleasure and joy.

So I ate.

And food helped until it didn’t. Eventually, my coping caught up with me and then I had to deal up the excess weight and the emotional baggage that came with it.

I started a diet. Then another. And another.

It was always the same: euphoria that this diet will be the way out, then the struggle, the lack of results, the fading resolve, then finally, frustration, disappointment, and self-loathing.

What was wrong with me? Eat less than I need every day, and the weight will come off. This should be easy, right?

The problem was, I didn’t know how to lose weight. If this is you too, know that it’s not your fault. Standard medical advice to “eat less and move more” isn’t helpful.

I spent years obsessing over food and dieting. I literally made a career out of it.

No really, I did!

As a holistic nutritionist, I’ve spent the last 15 years as a nutrition educator helping people amp up their nutrition game. And what really fires me up is to help fellow humans lose weight and regain their health. 

So here I am.

I’m a Registered Nutritional Therapist with an open heart and a big-picture perspective. I offer personalized weight loss programs for motivated people who want to lose weight and keep it off, once and for all.

My game changer? I’ve fallen in love, hard, with the magic combination of self-love, mindfulness, and a customized Low Carb/Keto diet combined with smart Intermittent Fasting. 

I believe that these tools, along with my thoughtful coaching is the best way for you to lose excess weight, keep it off and feel unstoppable.

Oh, and I make losing weight fun - yup, you read that right. No pushing the rock up the hill here…radical self-love gives you wings!

D’Arcy Furness Is a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and member of the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners (CANNP). She’s been helping fellow humans amp up their nutrition game for over 15 years and specializes in helping people navigate low carb and ketogenic dietary patterns, as well as fasting regimes. She loves to cook and inspire others to make the most of nature’s bounty to nourish themselves. Warm and engaging, D’Arcy’s passionate about educating and inspiring people to shift their eating paradigm, choose their best eating strategy and to simplify their relationship with food. D’Arcy avidly follows research in the “longevity meets health span” field and is keen to share her knowledge with others. When not at work, you’ll find her hiking, biking, writing poetry, meditating, traveling and sharing this beautiful world, laughing with family and friends!
